Dr Katayoun Karampour is a Research Associate working on multiple projects at CCHPR.
In addition to her MA in Architecture from the Univeristy of Tehran, Katy holds an MSc in Urban Regeneration and a PhD in Planning, both from the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London. Her PhD explored the implications of municipal financial dependence on private capital for urban planning in Tehran.
Her research interests include the role of urban planning in a complex contemporary world, and she has previously worked for CCHPR on a research project for MHCLG which looked at leasehold and freehold charges. As welll as being an experienced researcher, Katy has held several lecturer posts, primarily at the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL.
