The review was in two parts. Part 1 examined the current state of allocations in Northern Ireland and drew on  interviews with all the relevant stakeholders including the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and individual housing associations. Part 2 explored best practice in allocations policies across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The project was conducted jointly with colleagues at the University of Ulster. A final report synthesised the two studies and provided recommendations for the DSD to take forward.
