Unpicking the downsizing discourse: understanding the housing moves made by older people in England has been published by Housing Studies.
Gemma Burgess and Valentine Quinio's article, based on CCHPR's research into residential moves by the over 55s in England, explores the patterns of residential moves, behaviours and aspirations, which are far more nuanced than suggested by the term 'downsizing'.
