Cambridge Centre for Housing & Planning Research

Digital Built Britain Housing Network

Funded by the Centre for Digital Built Britain, the Digital Built Britain Housing Network has been commissioned to scope out a research programme designed to meet the needs of UK plc in delivering housing in a digital built Britain.

'Excellent', 'a great workshop' and 'well organised' are just some of the ways that delegates described the initial meeting of the Digital Built Britain Housing Network that took place at Trinity Hall, Cambridge on Tuesday 31 July.

Attended by a lively and very engaged group of academics and sector experts, the event has given CCHPR a great foundation for the next stage of the project. Over the coming months, those who attended will be supporting our researchers to develop a series of position papers. The first position paper, which looks at digitisation and housing an elderly population, has now been published on our website.

Please contact Gemma Burgess on glb36@cam.ac.uk if you have any comments on the paper or would be interested in collaborating on further research.
