It presents findings from interactive commentary theatre exploring marketplace exclusion in a deprived UK city. Three vignettes taken from the performance are used to explore the embodied and dialogical nature of performative knowledge production. Using theatre as a form of enquiry is a less traditional approach to market research, opening up fresh opportunities for critical consumer learning.
