The JRF’s Housing and Poverty programme commenced in 2013 and continued through to 2017. It was set up to explore the wider relationship between poverty and housing – access to affordable housing for those at risk of and already experiencing poverty and extreme poverty. The evaluation assessed the programme’s effectiveness in engagement of key stakeholders, the depth of their awareness of the research, how they have used the key findings and recommendations and in which contexts. The results informed the future development of JRF’s work on housing and poverty across the focus on research issues, effective engagement and communication mechanisms and approaches to partnership delivery.
