The main purpose of the study was to provide CLG with firm evidence on the extent to which adults who are neither pregnant nor have any dependant children, and who have to leave their homes because they are fleeing domestic violence, were getting the help they needed from local authorities to ensure they do not have to return to accommodation where they would be at risk of violence.
