Cambridge Centre for Housing & Planning Research

This feasibility study into how to improve the performance of S106 in delivering additional affordable housing comprised a policy and data review of the South West region, stakeholder interviews at national, regional and local levels, and four case studies from within the South West’s housing market areas.

There were also two seminar/workshops, one in late March 2007 to test understanding of local issues and one in May 2007 to explore ways of aligning grant and loan finance to developer contributions. The final outputs were a report and summary to the Housing Corporation South West. CCHPR worked in partnership with Roger Tym & Partners and Three Dragons.
