The House of Lords Select Committee on COVID-19 published its evidence report in April 2021. The inquiry focused on those aspects of our lives that are known to have an impact on our wellbeing: mental and physical health, social interaction, work and education. Other overarching issues, including digital inequality, were deemed by the report to be critical to the Government’s new hybrid strategy.

Evidence to the inquiry led to the conclusion that, unless comprehensive action is taken to address such issues, with government interventions to maximise the opportunities and mitigate the risks, our hybrid world will neither achieve its full potential nor serve the interests of all, and instead will leave many behind.

Written evidence submitted by CCHPR has been included in the report.

The full text of the report, Beyond Digital: Planning for a Hybrid World, can be viewed online.
