Dr Kwadwo Oti-Sarpong gave a talk to IStructE on 13 05 2021. His presentation looked at how digital technologies, offsite manufacturing and platforms for construction project delivery can help the construction industry move towards a streamlined digital future.
The presentation covered the UK construction industry transformation agenda,exploring the policy direction and initiatives that the Government, in partnership with industry, is implementing. He highlighted what these developments in the construction industry mean for construction firms in terms of capabilities development, and looked at the ways in which construction firms can successfully make the transition towards the use of these innovations. The implications for the construction professional were also covered.
