Cambridge Centre for Housing & Planning Research

Peter Williams, former director of CCHPR, focuses on the issue of rising intergenerational inequality, triggered directly or indirectly via the housing market and looks at how this issue can impact on notions and reality of asset based welfare. Although the chapter focuses on England, many countries have ageing populations and the issues concerned are widespread.

Peter's work has been published in Generational Interdependencies: the social implications for welfare, edited by Dr Beverley Searle and published by Vernon Press.
