A paper from the evaluation of the Cambridgeshire Time Credits project in Wisbech has just been published. The purpose of this paper is to describe the context in which the Time Credits programme operates. The first section provides an introduction to Wisbech, a little of the area’s history and a description of what the town is like today. The second section profiles key demographic and socio-economic factors in Wisbech followed by a section on the specific health issues in the area. This sets the background to the Time Credits programme and the specific issues Time Credits were intended to address.
