Cambridge Centre for Housing & Planning Research

Is innovation the answer to the chronic under-supply of housing in the UK?

CCHPR's mini project for the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) provides a 'state of the nation' report, commenting on the barriers to the uptake of digital tools in the UK house building industry and opening up the debate on the huge benefits that innovation can bring for both the industry and for home occupants and owners.

The final report to the CDBB and an executive summary are available to download from the project page on our website.

The Centre for Digital Built Britain is establishing a number of research networks as part of its Research Bridgehead, which it defines as 'collaborative, interdisciplinary and driven by research, technical innovation and industry engagement'. More details about the work of the CDBB can be found on their website.
