Co-living for vulnerable older people - the views of stakeholders

CCHPR have published their latest report on their research into co-living as a housing solution for vulnerable older people, funded jointly by the Nationwide Foundation and Nationwide Building Society.

The report notes that while there is relative consensus around the benefits of cohousing and co-living for older people, the fact that there are currently so few senior cohousing models in the UK inevitably begs the question 'why?'.  The stakeholder interviews that have informed this report suggest that, in the UK, would-be co-living schemes face a landscape riddled with barriers and challenges.
