Biography

Jihuan Li’s research focuses on an examination of the formulation and implementation of the development control system in Chinese cities. She will employ an institutional perspective to interpret how the system regulates urban land development, and to reflect on  how the broader institutional environment interacts with the system and affects the outcomes.

 Jihuan recently graduated from the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge with an MPhil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration. She also holds an MEng and a BEng, both in Urban Planning, from Tongji University in China.
