Dr Reyhaneh Shojaei has a background in urban planning and has a particular interest in the complex relationships between the different actors in the urban housing arena.

Her first degree is a BSc in Science Theoretical Economics from the University of Tehran (2005). She also holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning (2008, School of Architecture and Environmental Design, Iran University of Science and Technology) and a PhD in Urban Planning (2016, Department of Urban Studies and Planning, University of Sheffield, UK).

She has previously worked for UN-Habitat, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and Buildreka, and most recently for the Centre for Digital Built Britain, where she supported the team to develop the capabilities framework.

Rey is a Postdoctoral Associate at Jesus College, Cambridge.
