The presentation briefly described the objectives of the project and went on to discuss Anthony Giddens's Structuration Theory. It examined the contribution that the theory, which hypothesises that neither the human agent or society have primacy and that structure and agency are implicated in every moment of social interaction, has made to the analysis of policies and practices of land use planning in situated time-space contexts.
