The November 2019 conference was an opportunity to get together to network, share best practice and develop a shared vision for how we can all respond to poverty and best work with those people who are experiencing it. It was an opportunity to learn from national research, focus on local solutions and think in a strength based way. Key note speeches, discussion groups and workshops were a chance to share thoughts and to learn from others.

Dr Gemma Burgess presented in the plenary session and ran a workshop. Her sessions focused on learning from the evaluation of New Horizons to date and on ‘Tackling social and digital exclusion: to what extent can one-to-one coaching lead to individual autonomy?‘
