In particular, it examined how a recent shift to a single equalities focus in legislation was stimulating the development of Inclusive Design Groups and how it was impacting on existing Women’s Design Groups and Disability Access Groups. The aim was to share lessons learnt, best practice and to consider ways forward by facilitating discussion between the different initiatives in light of the research findings.
