The aim is to explore the likely impacts of the recession on the economic and housing situation of renters in the private and social sectors in the short and medium-long term. The study will look at lessons that can be learnt from past recessions, explore the impact of the current recession on providers or rented housing and make suggestions for appropriate policy responses.
