This book on the history of homelessness in Cambridge was commissioned by Cambridge Cyrenians to commemorate their 40th anniversary. The project is funded by the Heritage Fund. The book, which draws on oral history interviews and archive research, traces the origins of the Cyrenians to the present day.

The book, which draws on oral history interviews and archive research, the Cyrenians’ work with the homeless from its origins in the late 1960s to the present day. During this time it grew from a small amateur group organising a soup run to a professional body housing over 70 people in supported accommodation throughout the city.
