Cambridge Centre for Housing & Planning Research

The book, which draws on oral history interviews and archive research, charts the Cyrenians’ work with the homeless from its origins in the late 1960s to the present day. During this time, the organisation grew from a small amateur group organising a soup run to a professional body housing with over 20 staff and housing over 100 people in a range of types of accommodation throughout the city.
