This research focuses on the 111 designated foyers which were in existence in 2003, providing 4,630 bed spaces for young people between the ages of 16 and 21. It was researched and written for TSA by Dr Roland Lovatt, with Professor Christine Whitehead, University of Cambridge, with funding from TSA’s Innovation and Good Practice programme.
