Timebanking is a community scheme which enables local people to exchange skills and support in a structured way around the swapping of units of their time. It can help to build social capital in local communities, but may also have the potential to generate cost savings. Valuing Success: A Case Study of Emmaus Village CarltonCCHPR were commissioned to update the evaluation of the success of the Emmaus approach, this time using Emmaus Village Carlton as a case study. The project's aim was to determine the cost effectiveness of the Emmaus Community including the economic value to participants, local communities and society and the economy at large. |
