Market Intelligence toolkit for Orbit Housing Group

This project involved tightly focused research to critically assess the market intelligence that Orbit needed to develop in support of effective decision making over future decades in terms of asset management, investment and potential expansion.

This involved quantitative analysis of housing market data, drawing out past trends and recent changes, demographic projections of households, the use of macro economic forecasts at local level, analysis of current and potential future competitors, and analysis of local market rents in order to estimate Orbit’s likely market share if rents are set at different levels.
